Dato' Ruslan was appointed Director of Unza Holdings Berhad on 15 June 1994. He is currently the Deputy Chairman of Unza Holding Berhad. He started his trading business at the age of 19. Besides being the Managing Director of Uzamar Corporation Sdn Bhd since 1981, he also holds directorships in several other private limited companies.

Sabri Ab Rahman

Sabri started Television Airtime Services Sdn Bhd since its incorporation and he is one of the two major shareholders. He has been actively involved in the development of private television in Malaysia since the inception of TV3 in 1983.

Before starting his own company, Sabri worked for several companies and industries including banking and finance, automobile, billboards and production, trading and sales. Besides being a specialist in programme acquisition at TV3, he was also actively involved in the management of MetroVision in 1997.

Currently he oversees the overall management of airtime sales for RTM TV1, TV2 and 27 radio channels. He is also very much involved in the production of TAS’ children’s television programmes. His involvement in the convergence of television and the internet is instrumental to the recent development of interactive TV.

Sabri is well respected in the industry for his capability as an entrepreneur and his ability to lead some one hundred experienced broadcasting personnel providing a multitude of radio and television programme and sales related services.

Besides being the President of TAS, he also sits on the boards of several private companies.

 

Norwati Abdul Razak

Norwati holds a Master of Business Administration (Accounting) and was previously a lecturer of Univeristi Teknologi MARA (UiTM). She presently oversees the financial and operational policies of TAS and sits on the boards of several other private companies.

Prior to assuming her present position, Norwati managed wide-ranging business from trading houses to broadcasting and media companies.

 

Tahir Othman

Tahir began his career in the Banking Sector and has some 12 years of banking experience. He later joined Negara Properties (M) Bhd as Head of Industrial Sales for 3 years. Tahir joined TAS as Head of Radio and Television Brunei operation in 1997 where he developed the Radio Television Brunei markets covering Malaysia and Singapore.

Before assuming his present position of overseeing the operations of the TAS group of companies, he was heading the News and Programmes Production Division. He holds a Master of Business Administration (General Management) from the International Islamic University.


Lim Lay Siah

Lim Lay Siah joined TAS in May 2000 as Finance Manager. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) of the Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants and Public Accountants of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. She has an honours degree in Accounting from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1991.

Lay Siah has approximately 10 years of professional and commercial experience and has been involved in a wide variety of assignments in various industries via audits and financial consulting for listed companies, government related companies and multi-nationals. She worked in Shamsir Jasani Grant Thorton (from 1991-1994) and TH Law & Co (from 1995-1997). Prior to joining TAS, she was with Radicare (M) Sdn. Bhd as a Financial Service Manager.

Azli Paat

His work experience includes position at Sapura Holdings Sdn. Bhd as Technical Support Manager and Consultant to various projects in the areas of Digital Publishing, Multimedia Creation, 2D Cell and 3D animations, digital video editing and web publishing.

With more than 12 years experience in the Graphics industry he is equally comfortable on Macintosh, PC and Unix platforms. He has trained the creative staff of hundreds of major corporations in the field of Multi-media and Web Design through his Emacs Academy Professional Training Center.

Azli is currently writing a book on Multimedia Creations for Developers and the effective marketing of entrepreneurs. He has conducted numerous seminars for public listed companies and government departments in the field of new technology and utilization. He is the Chairman of Macroemedia User Group of Malaysia and is actively involved in the area of transferring multi-media technology to the masses.

Azli is currently heading the IT division of TAS looking into the development of the Interactive TV project.
